Avatar: Discover Pandora is a high-tech interactive exhibition inspired by James Cameron’s 2009 sci-fi blockbuster. Inhabiting 12,000 square feet, the attraction will immerse visitors in Avatar’s settings (the Hallelujah Mountains, the Tree of Souls), wildlife (banshees, direhorses, viperwolves), and science (space travel, AMP suits) — and of course the culture of the 9-foot blue humanoids known as the Na’vi.
The exhibit utilizes the ZaniPlayer Micro Media Servers for playback and control of the introduction rooms of the exhibit. The ZaniPlayer not only provides video playback that is remotely controlled with a handheld RF transmitter by a live host, but also synchronizes lighting and door controls within each room.
